Nicole Rousonelos - Acupuncturist
About Me: Drawing from a diverse background in both the service industry and the performance arts, I bring a unique blend of creativity, empathy, and attention to detail to my practice as an acupuncturist. My journey into the world of healing arts began as a quest to integrate my passion for helping others with my love for artistic expression.
Professional Background: I’ve spent years immersed in service industry, where I honed my skills in communication, customer care, and problem-solving. Through my experiences, I developed a profound appreciation for the importance of empathy and connection in fostering meaningful relationships.
Artistic Influence: In parallel with my career in the service industry, I've always been drawn to the world of performance art. As a performer myself, I understand the profound impact that creative expression can have on our well-being and sense of self. My background in performance art infuses my approach to acupuncture with a sense of creativity, spontaneity, and emotional depth. Just as each performance is a journey of self-discovery and expression, each acupuncture session is an opportunity for my clients to embark on a deeply personal exploration of healing and transformation.
Credentials & Training: I hold a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science Chicago, where I merged my passion for healing with my artistic sensibilities. Additionally, I am licensed by the NCCAOM and continually seek to deepen my knowledge through ongoing education and training.
Philosophy: In my practice, I view each individual as a unique story to be told. Through the ancient wisdom of acupuncture and the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I aim to create a safe and nurturing space for my clients to explore their inner landscape and reconnect with their innate healing abilities. My sessions are a collaborative process between myself and the patient, guided by intuition, trust, and shared intention.
Mission Statement: My mission is to empower individuals to embrace their journey to wellness with courage, creativity, and compassion. By blending the artistry of acupuncture with the science of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I strive to support my clients on their path to health, vitality, and self-discovery.
